Almost nothing added.

The conversion of a 1930s tyre factory into eleven workshops and our own studio. Almost nothing was added: the roof lights were unblocked, the floor was ground back, and a blackened timber spine was inserted to carry services so the shell could be left entirely alone.

Let the old building speak

The new work gathers into a single timber element. Services, storage and enclosed rooms sit together, leaving the long factory volume legible. The concrete floor and roof trusses keep the marks of the building’s previous life.
