About ninety minutes from Portland on the 6, then the 131. Eleven spaces behind the building, two accessible. Street parking on Bayshore after six.

This is a fictional address and journey description from the original concept. There is no real restaurant to visit.

A room for
settling in.

Step-free access

Step-free from the car park to the room, bar and WC. Two accessible seats at the low end of the counter, held until eight. Assistance dogs always welcome.

Sound & light

No music before seven, and never above conversation. The room is dim after dark; three lit menus are kept behind the bar.

Dogs & children

Other dogs are welcome at the bar. Children are welcome before seven; there is no separate children’s menu.

The bar is for walk-ins

Fourteen bar seats are held back every night. If you are two and flexible, the concept suggests arriving at four or after half past eight.

The small print,
kept small.

We hold tables fifteen minutes.

After that the bar gets them. In the restaurant concept, a call lets the team know you’re running late.

Tables for up to six.

Larger groups are on request, Wednesday or Thursday only. There is no private dining or second sitting.

Cancel by noon.

No charge, at any notice. A table released at noon is a table somebody else gets.

Tell us about allergies.

At booking and again when you sit down. The kitchen handles shellfish, gluten and dairy constantly.
